No part of parenting comes with a fail-proof "how-to" guide, but it can come with the support of a knowledgeable doula to navigate the birthing process by utilizing pain management techniques, providing encouragement when it feels too hard, and guidance to help make the best decisions for you and your family.
This support extends beyond the birth to postpartum, as the family adjusts to a new normal, providing a "safe base" for any questions, a check in on the mental/emotional well-being of the new mom, as well as an opportunity to process through the details of birth to help solidify the beauty of your birth story.
Lactation/Breastfeeding Education
Preparing your body and mind for breastfeeding/nursing begins well before the birth of the baby. Being confidently prepared for that first latch and having a toolbox of tips and strategies to utilize when feeding difficulties arise can make a big difference in the success of your breastfeeding journey.
